Our company carried out shooting tests of artillery fuses for use in 122 mm caliber artillery ammunition. Firing tests were hold in the Military Technical and Testing Institute Záhorie in which the fuses were verified on 122 mm EOF D30 ammunition (122 mm OF-462 FRAG and 122 mm OF-462 INERT, respectively).

The shootings were made from Russian made 122-mm self-propelled howitzer 2S1 Gvozdika. The purpose of the test was to verify, under the conditions specified by the manufacturer of artillery fuses, their suitability for use in a given ammunition and in a given weapon.

The aim of the shooting tests was to confirm their reliability within the limit values of internal and external ballistics, which were determined by a specific ammunition and a specific weapon.

The tests were successful and proved not only the capabilities and technical capacities of the Slovak R&D base, but also the professional expertise of Slovak Defense Industry experts.
